Cairns Airport have posted traffic numbers for September. My preferred perspective compared as a percentage of pre-covid 2019:

Pretty awful but September numbers this year were 28,632 above 2020. BITRE lagging data is to July 2021 on top routes:

Hard to keep up with the timeline of events here. Victoria had an early lockdown but then opened up before locking down again with a bounce in July traffic. No numbers were provided by BITRE for the SYD – CNS route in July.
