End of month, quarter and financial year with a slew of data due and unposted drafts. Than came payrolls data today from ABS.

I’m confused by this. Cairns is close to the median region. Different regions will be weighted differently within Queensland but I don’t understand how the Queensland index can be above all the SA4 regions in Queensland?

SA3 data in this release is weird and doesn’t make sense at all so I wont waste time looking at it until ABS confirm a query on whether it is real.
