March quarter data from the Residential Tenancy Authority revealed continued growth in regional tropical cities:

Total rental bonds lodged at quarter end March 31 didn’t change much after a rather volatile period:

However the total number of rental bonds held in Cairns is now around the same level it was seven years ago. When I looked at regional comparisons a while ago now it was a trend exceptional to Cairns.
