Airport June
Cairns Airport numbers for June showed a small blip but remain mostly meaningless until there is a more sustained recovery from lockdowns.
Cairns Post has reported commentary from the Airport CEO that “domestic passengers now exceeded 27,000 a week”. That would still be an awfully long way down from the July peak of 424,178 domestic ex transits recorded in July 2018. July is the peak month for domestic airport traffic.
