Cairns Airport: more of the same
Cairns Airport domestic continued the run of negative growth down -2.5% on the previous December. International also took a hit this time down 10.5% which is the second consecutive year of material declines for the month. Sadly, we no longer get commentary on this from the Airport.
Still think I will be watching this comparison:

Thanks for your comment Ruan. While that’s a common theme which I understand there is a new CEO at TTNQ who should probably be given a go. Beyond that it is also noted that there was media the last week or so on a prominent previous CEO. I will restrain comment on the performance during that period and unreliable survey data from Tourism Australia.
