September pretty much continued previous trends. Cairns SA4 has pulled back towards the Queensland mean with the 12 month moving average a lagging indicator.

Townsville flood boom continues to flow through but annual number maybe close to a peak.

Regional curiosities continue with Cassowary Coast growth in both Tully and Innisfail SA2 while Douglas and Tableland decline.

Should note here that the previous boom in Douglas was driven by increased capacity with an additional venue and increased machine numbers which have since been stable. Tableland in the same period has lost venues and machine numbers.
